We want you to feel welcome at Orange Baptist Church, but never uncomfortable. Join us for Sunday worship and see what we’re all about. There’s more information below to help you if you’re visiting us.
When are services and what are they like?
Our Sunday worship service is at 11:00 am. The worship style is traditional, meaning we sing hymns, the choir leads in worship, and we draw from the long standing worship traditions of our heritage. We incorporate new elements and creativity in crafting our worship to glorify God, using the talents of those in our congregation. Our service is designed primarily with Christians in mind, but people exploring faith questions will feel respected and included.
Another opportunity is Evensong on Wednesday nights at 6:00 p.m. This is a very casual service that includes scripture, prayer, and singing contemporary songs and hymns. After worship, we break into gender specific groups for Bible study.
What do I wear?
You’ll see some people looking casual, others more dressed up—from jeans to suits and dresses. Be comfortable and you’ll be fine.
Where do I take my kids?
A safe, welcoming nursery for newborns up to the age of 3 is available during worship (11:00) and Sunday School (9:45-11:00). After the children’s sermon in our worship service, children ages 4 through 3rd grade are taken to Children’s Church on each Sunday except the first Sunday of each month.
Where should I park?
Please see the parking page.
What door should I come in?
During Sunday school, enter the door with the awning by the Bank of America parking lot, on the right side of our building. This is the door individuals with handicaps should use at all times to utilize our elevator.
For worship, feel free to enter the front doors that open up to Main Street.
